This was the final for my Graphics course; the teacher was real awesome since the focus of the final was to Draw whatever you want! I love projects like that! Gives me the freedom to do whatever XD

Anyhoot, this is actually a future character coming up in DIRT, this coy douche is Azul Peng, for now all I will say about him is that he enjoys wrecking shit up in his dragon form. lol

You truly do need to zoom into full view to appreciate the work that went into this piece.

Vision:
This piece does have a clear theme of a tough, violent guy.

Originality: This is a nice, original character, and his pairing with the dragon (though it is his dragon form) is pretty unique. This almost has a sort of graffiti style to it, which adds the street element (as well as the tribal tattoos) to this work, and gives it a certain flair. This is also an interesting arrangement of close-ups of the same piece.

Technique:
The colors of this piece show a good grasp on color theory (for example the pairing of the blue scales against the orange skin -- complementary colors), and also the use of red in order to direct our attention. This artist demonstrates a very nice handle on the mediums they used. I also appreciate the repetition of the dragon theme, with the dragon behind him, and also tattooed on his chest. I docked some stars; however, due to anatomy issues. His right side (our left) isn't stretching right. His shoulder needs to be moved over further to the left, otherwise it is significantly shorter than the other side. The connection of his elbow to his upper arm also seems a bit off. All that needs to be done there is to shorten that line. Also, the muscles on his stretched side should actually be stretching, which means they won't be flexed as they have been drawn. What also docked points was the squashed image of the "bang bang right in your head" down at the bottom. That part isn't actually that squashed in the actual piece, so it detracts from the quality overall. Also, that part is cut off in the whole image on top.

Impact:
Overall, I feel this piece still has a strong impact. Obvious work went into it, and it does demonstrate good skill with color and texture. Despite the anatomy issues, it is still a fairly strong piece, and it looks great in the thumbnail too! It's colorful, and that gets the viewer's attention.
